World premiere at SMM 2014. Hall B6, stand 234. Don't miss it.

Pressrelease SMM 2014

Colorlight will have a world premiere at SMM for one new development that totally changes the way you operate your searchlight - the CLINT solution. We will also show a new concept of an upgraded LED version, the CLED-SLX concept.

CLINT – the Seachart controlled Colorlight Searchlight

The CLINT concept is based on that you many times know where you need to place your lightbeam but it takes time and manpower to get it there with a traditional joystick. It also takes time to keep the beam on the interesting spot. With CLINT solution you just address a point on an electronic seachart to acquire the target. The target can be a fixed target or it can be a moving one - the searchlight will control itself to keep the beam on that target. A fixed target can be a piece of land that you want to have in sight, a moving target can be an AIS vessel, AIS SART (or other MOB device) or radar target. The searchlight knows its own position and heading and will adjust itself to stay on target. The CLINT control system is parallel to the regular joystick control and comes in a nice package of a 12" touchscreen with PC, control software from TMQ and a basic set of electronic seacharts. The system communicates with the vessel sensors based on NMEA standard. CLED-SLX concept

The CLED-SLX concept. Powerful LED searchlight, to endure the roughest seas. LED technology developed by Luminell. Powerful enough for Offshore vessels where you want to replace the old halogen type of light that has a low efficiency and high maintenance need. Good light quality values with high Color Rendering Index and daylight temperature. Direct ignition and extreme endurance. A system that can run on either 24VDC or 230 VAC.
